+Grahame Cookie
For those Geocaching or Waymarking travellers, who need to find a WiFi Hotspot or portal, the new Officers will try their best to get a Submission approved that has a reasonable amount of appropriate information included. My apologies up front, as I am new to this level of Officialdom, and I know that 'we' will do the best we can to prompt the Poster of a submission to provide enough accurate information, so that others will know ahead of time if they want to stop in at a particular place to check their emails, etc. So PLEASE, no submissions that look like they are "Drive-by". Share your experience. Thanks (from DownUnder) Grahame Cookie Quote Link to comment

+Benchmark Blasterz
Thanks BKH for the heads-up about the new requirements, and GC for taking leadership in this category I just checked to make sure our WMs in this category met the new requirements and edited as appropriate Quote Link to comment
+T0SHEA
There seems to be resistance to the new requirements. Some have indicated they want it to go back "to the old way". That is not going to happen. Grahame Cookie gave much thought before upgrading the category. We supported this idea in the hopes that it will help set a precedent for categories that DO NOT require any long description. REMINDER: NOTE 8/10/2016 Requirements have been updated Please read before submitting new waymarks! Required Naming Convention: Location Name - Wi-Fi Hotspot - City, State Instructions for Posting a Wi-Fi Hotspots Waymark: Do your best to mark the center of the Wi-Fi hotspot with your GPS for the most accurate source. Two photos are required with one being a full building shot and the other being a close up clearly showing the name of the site offering the WiFi. Submissions deemed to be "Drive By Waymarks" will no longer be accepted into this category! To avoid having to resubmit your Posting, PLEASE write a couple of sentences, appropriate for the site of the WiFi Hotspot. For example, is there seating, and especially, is there any power points, or other charging facilities for your device(s). Edited August 16, 2016 by BK-Hunters Quote Link to comment
