USE IPHONE AS GPSR?

I’d like to use my iPhone as a GPSr. I have the official geocaching application, but I want to set up a series of temporary caches and enter waypoints manually and use the phone to navigate to them. How Can I do that?

Every time your are navigating to a given cache, you can create waypoints.

You can use those waypoints for any other purpose later.

As RuideAlmeida mentioned, you can add waypoints while navigating to any cache. So it requires no other App.

 

But if you'd like a dedicated App for getting coorinates, I recommend the free "Commander Compass". It works well, and you can set it to the coord format that the site uses. Or search the App store for "free GPS", for a list.
