For beginners, Wherigo\\kit (Wherigo.rangerfox.com) is the easiest to understand. Just right-click on a map, add a new location (zone), and tell it what actions to take. In order to make it as easy as possible to build cartridges, Kit removes a lot of options. Once you tire of the go-here-answer-this type of cartridge, it'll be time to graduate to a more full-featured builder.

 

That said, I'd strongly suggest playing some cartridges before making any. And as you've only found three geocaches, I'd also suggest waiting until you've found fifty before hiding any. Please get a feel for how caches are hidden around your area before hiding some.
