I wish they had looked to see what else was going on that week. There is also an event over on the Peninsula thats been on the board for several weeks now. They might get better turnout if the cache machine took place the following week. Quote Link to comment
+travisl
I'd put the Peninsula Cache-In on my calendar prior to this, and it'd be tough to get the family to let me leave at 4:00 a.m. and be gone all day, just before I do it again for three days in March. Wish I could do this one, but I don't see it happening. Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
I don't know which one to do now either. The Pennisula one will be much closer, but Cache Machines are so fun and I'm not sure we'll be able to do Vancouver. Will have to think about this one for a while. Quote Link to comment
+TotemLake
I'm planning on heading to the peninsula if I don't have any side work going on at the time. Quote Link to comment

Moun10Bike
CONGRATS, GEORGE! It's funny that a cache like Paradise Lost that used to be one of the toughest around is now practically routine. That's another one of those scary realizations (sorta like feeling relieved to find a "big" Bison tube)! Quote Link to comment

Going to try your luck with the Sweet 16 series? I was wondering if I was going to get any competition... I'll probably be bringing my dog along too so that looks like it eliminates one of them. I'll probably chase one or two, but I'm not too big on micro caches as I tend to spend way too much time on the search while overthinking the clues or lack thereof. +evergreenhiker!
Adena (Cache Ahead) and I tried for Geo Stumpy today. Absolutely perfect day for snowshoeing!!!!! Here is the cache page and my pics: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...aa-0be265a32bd1 Saw a big Coyote. I might have to come back in the summer and see if the stump is on the ground. Groudn zero pointed at a partial stump...looked like itmay have broken off. We dug and dug...bottomless. Deep snow...probably ten feet or so. Dug out several other stumps, but eventually gave up and I hit a couple of easy caches in Monroe on way home. Great day to be out there! Quote Link to comment

+CachinCin
Where ya going? Og I think there are a few new ones just on the other side of the lake, and there are a few in W. Seattle and Queen Anne that we've been waiting to do (wanted a clear day for the views). It it's too cloudy for a a beautiful vista, we'll head to the north end of the city. It sure is nice to have 250 waypoints in my GPS, plus those 250 cache pages in my smartphone. It lets me be a little less planned, a little more carefree. Cin Quote Link to comment

+CachinCin
I can report that Pepper is still a little sore from yesterday, but in spite of it we managed to find 8 caches and hide one. It was a beautiful day for geocaching. We went over and cleaned up Queen Anne hill, found some new ones by UW, and crowned things off back on the Eastside by finding one of the evil hides by Beamin' Demon. I really really really really really really really needed to be out caching today. One day of geocaching in the sunny northwest, and I'm refreshed and relaxed. +evergreenhiker!
Headlama's box I did the other day sort of inspired me to put out a box that'll be definitely an adventure to get to. So thus, the mystery one...the other two are standard drive by caches. So if you decide not to do the other one, you get two fairly quick points anyway. We need more adventure type caches. I'm tired of evil micros! Yep, I mean just that...bushwacking. No easy way to this place. Some sections/areas are easier than others, but that's for you to figure out.
