4GroundNuts
We just picked up a TB that wants to travel to the UK. Should have looked at the goal before we grabbed it! We can't help much other than placing it back in a TB hotel in the area. Can anyone recommend a good hotel that will get this bug moved on and out of the area quickly? Quote Link to comment
cerberus1
TB "hotels" are named as such by their owners, and really no different than Any cache that can accept trackables. No harm in logging/moving along a trackable that has a goal that you can't add to. That one's a bit ambitious. Quote Link to comment
Great Scott!
Just moving it to another geocache is helping the goal. It doesn't have to be a TB hotel. Edited May 28, 2016 by Great Scott! Quote Link to comment
TeamRabbitRun
The way I treat missions like that is to move them closer, in this case, 'northeast', even if only by a few miles. The closer to JFK, the better the chances that they'll get across the pond. Of course, then there's one of MINE, who's mission WAS to visit every one of New York State's 62 counties, then come home. Don't get me wrong; I'm very excited that he's seen more of the world than I have, but there's a light in my window in case the little guy ever makes it back. <sigh> Lookee here: https://www.geocaching.com/track/map_gm.aspx?ID=3492360 Quote Link to comment
sporfrog
Consider it this way...Not everyone who finds it can move it to the UK. And once it is there does it only want to stay in the UK? As others have said, find a cache that may be a bit closer or a cache that is more likely to have a UK bound visitor like closer to an airport. I'm sure the owner will be happy that it has been dropped in a new cache and that it is still out there and not lost. Quote Link to comment
