[Bug] Editing a cache log hangs the web page

When trying to submit an edited log the web page does not load. The edited text is getting accepted by the system (what is visible after restarting the web browser).

 

Confirmed on different machines (PC, Apple), different browsers and two different game accounts.

I think they're having bigger issues with the site right now. It was pretty slow to load a second ago, and I now get a server error when I try to get to my profile page.

...and now when I try to go to any geocaching.com URL, I get redirected to http://status.geocaching.com/, which doesn't have any useful information on it.

I just tried it and it worked as expected. I suspect the page was failing to load because they were having some temporary issues with the servers, which have since been resolved.

I think I was hitting the site the same time as you were. I got the 500 server error, then the status page, and tried again a few minutes later and it worked.
