+8Nuts MotherGoose
I just purchased a 64st and set up BaseCamp on my computer. When I download a GPX file to BaseCamp, all the different types of caches have the same Icon. Is there a way to create different icons for the different types of caches? Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
There is no good way to do this in Basecamp. I wouldn't worry about it. Use basecamp to manage waypoints, tracks, and routes, but not geocaches. Use geocaching.com and pocket queries for that. (or GSAK (windows) or iCaching (mac) if you really want a stand-alone geocache manager) Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Drop it into GSAK and export it as a GDB file and you will get what you want. Also with Basecamp installed you can also install the old Mapsource which is much simpler in design and what I use since my needs aren't all that complicated and it has at least one feature that I use all the time that Basecamp doesn't. +MKGees
I spent a while trying to figure it out in BaseCamp and was ultimately successful, but only as a result of doing quite a bit of work also in GSAK. What I did is described at https://www.the-gardners.co.uk/techie/back-to-basecamp/ 1 Quote Link to comment

+Mausebiber
One GSAK macro does it all: https://www.saarfuchs.com/?s=export2basecamp Hint: on the right.hand side click on the "Translate" button to change language. Quote Link to comment

WHY is that macro not listed at the official GSAK Macro Index? Quote Link to comment
+Mausebiber
Quote WHY is that macro not listed at the official GSAK Macro Index? I don't know, please ask Saarfuchs. All I can say is that I'm using this macro for quite some time and it works fine: Quote Link to comment
