Has anyone seen the latest edition of "Adirondack Life"? There is a nice article on Geocaching. ("Caching Out" page 30) Couldn't find it on their website. It cover topics like CITO, travel bugs and the uncertainty of what you will find, if anything, when you get to the vicinity of the posted coordinates. The edition it appears in is the 2003 Annual Guide to the Great Outdoors.

I just read this about an hour ago. I was over at the in-laws. This helps justify all the Saturdays away from their daughter pursuing my obsession. FIL seems to think it is a real activity these days. That's good! icon_wink.gif

I just read the article today as well. I'd love to give it a try myself but I don't have a GPS. Is there anyone out there near me who has one and likes to do this who would be willing to "show me the ropes" so to speak? If I like it I may get a GPS but I'd like to try it first.

Piperbiker - I'm quite a ways from you but if you would like to come a little closer to Albany area I could meet you somewhere and go find a few caches with you. I even have a spare gps you could use for the day. It's not for sale as it's my spare. If interested email me from my profile.
