laode Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Dear geo-cachers, I am looking to solve a geo-calculation problem to find a point. May be this forum is not a good place to ask that. If so, plaese point me to better matching boards. I got coordinates of 2 points and the angle to point No. 3 + distance from 2->3. You may call this a vector from 2->3 ? My problem is now to tranlate the angle at point 2 into a absolute geo-angle, so I can target point 3 properly. Sample: angle at point 2 is 131°. So this is the angle between lines from point 1->2 and 2->3. How can I translate this into a real geografic direction ? thanks for any hint. LaoDe Quote Link to comment
