+thomfre
According to the banner on the site, maintenance were supposed to be done yesterday. But the banner is still there, and I'm experiencing issues with both the site and the API now. Did you postpone it, and start it now instead? Or are there something else wrong? Quote Link to comment
+rcm999
They must have changed it. I was on the site, got kicked out and now cannot sign back in. The store works okay as does the forum. Quote Link to comment
+J Grouchy
Very spotty service today. Quote Link to comment
+igator210
I doubt it was postponed, but rather something unexpected probably happened that is still causing issues. Quote Link to comment
+Cryptosporidium-623
Something is definitely still going on. I've been trying last night to dip trackables into a cache I found yesterday and whenever I submit, the request times out. Quote Link to comment
+two bison
I logged 23 caches in about 20 minutes last night including a couple photo uploads without issues. The only problem I've seen so far is that the banner isn't gone. Quote Link to comment
+Pontiac_CZ
I guess there will be another April 19, 2016. Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
"We will be performing scheduled site maintenance on April 19, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm PST. During this time Geocaching.com may go offline briefly." is still being shown on most of the pages of the site. Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
Since the servers are still building indexes from the downtime and could conceivably need to go down again, the engineers felt it was best to leave the banner up. Ideally, the text could have been changed, but that's water under the bridge now for the most part. Quote Link to comment
