What does the Earth Cache reviewers/NGS think of the April Fools Earth Caches? Were they reviewed and approved?

 

To log this cache you must discover Gonzo's planet, and answer the following questions about it:

 

(1) What planetary system does Gonzo's planet belong to.

(2) What is its mass and radius.

(3) What gasses make up its atmosphere.

(4) What are the primary types of rock the planet's crust is made of.

(5) Photograph yourself (or just your GPS) on the surface of Gonzo's planet.

Guess it kinda shows how quickly folks will log anything for those souvis if given the chance.

Prima facie! God forbid folks should have a little light hearted fun once a year

 

For future reference, Earthcaches are Reviewed and Published, not "approved".

Loved the Geo Art set-up! Looks like a fun April Fools joke.

 

The few listings I looked at, all had a NA log on them. Good grief, it's nice to see that some people can't even take one day out of their lives to untwist their underwear and have some fun.

I put one on my watch list last night. Woke up to literally 2 thousand notifications. Won't be doing the again.

There are certainly a lot of state / province / country souvenirs being collected through logging these caches. I do like the GeoArt though.
