looking for freinds to work with

hi we are a father 41 and daughter 8 that just started geocaching. me as the father am looking for a few people locally to the Brookfield il area maybe to help teach me more what im doing. I am loving looking for things and we have 17 found already.if anyone else is local to the area please let me know. I really wanna find a leap year event but cant find any for when im not working on Monday lol.i also don't understand a lot on the app hope to hear from someone soon. thank you.

anyone in my area able to help please? i wanna do a local event monday if someone can help maybe? in the evening. plus then could help me with my questions about the app and finding caches.

If you're on Facebook, look up local geocaching groups in your area. A couple of the groups we're on post upcoming meet ups/events in the area as well as classes. The class we attended was full of information on maps...but was above our level and technical expertise...but the people that were there were really helpful with showing us some beginner stuff (plus we scored some Girl Scout cookies).
