+gbmcache
From the other forums and from experiencing the Intro App for iPhone I understand that Groundspeak is updating the app for the iPhone with the idea of abandoning the paid app. But what about the app for Android? It appears that nothing is being done in updating the Android, and if it is being addressed it is way behind in development. Can we get an update on what Groundspeak's intentions are with regard to Intro app for Android? Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
By what's written on both apps, Android only has three weeks difference in updates (from iPhone). What's way behind in development? Possible any difference is simply do to the operating systems themselves? - Compare 'em to Windows sometime... Quote Link to comment
+gbmcache
cerberus1, thank you for your note. Indeed, when I compared feature for feature the iPhone with the Android there was not a big difference. My question arose from how better the iPhone looked vs. the Android and the disparity between the Intro App and the paid one. I assumed that the Android was way behind in development. This assumption also arose from the fact that I could not find the tread which announced the various Android updates. Quote Link to comment
+rocketgarden
The Android and iPhone Intro apps are developed and updated at the same time, give or take a week. Neither paid app is being actively worked on at this time. Keep your eyes peeled in the coming month for some announcements that should more comprehensively answer your questions Quote Link to comment
