"Pocket query" in Waymarking?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the response. I have been using GSAK for Waymarking as well as for geocaching but it's a pain loading the individual files into GSAK. When I do a Waymarking search I get a list of up to 25 Waymarks per page. I can check one or all of these and download all of them into GSAK at the same time. Problem is that only the gpx lite is available that way - the lite version does not even include the visit requirements. Is there a work around to get the full versions a page at a time rather than just one at a time?

heh... Waymarking: just another of Groundspeak's abandoned projects. (just like Wherigo). I wonder if they have anyone keeping up the website or server backend? The site hasn't been updated in years and still sports the look and feel of the ancient geocaching.com interface. That may explain why newer features haven't been implemented.

There is an other way to get more waymarks into GSAK via Google Earth (150 a time, see . But this also does not help you with the visit instructions. When I was reading your post I was thinking: Visit intructions are per category. So we might identify one WM per category as containing the visit template and copy it to each loaded WM of that category. I might add this to WaymarkPostProcessLoadGpx.gsk.

What about putting the visit instructions into the 'hints' section?
