Very funny and entertaining, as there are 6 cemetery caches when my search word was "playground"

but not very helpful.

 

A little tweaking of the search engine would be nice.

I like the new choices and the new format of the new search engine.

Now perhaps a little more accuracy would be great.

Oh, and adding quotation marks gives me the exact same results.

 

Using the new filters it came up with "DNF". Nothing. It is the name of a local cache.

What were your steps?

 

I checked your profile and put Seattle, WA in the initial search box, to get the search area.

I clicked on "Change filters" and put "Playground hangout" (without quotes) in the "Geocache Name Contains .." field.

 

I got one result: http://coord.info/GC65TMF

Here are all Playground caches in the entire US (you forget to say where you searched).

Your steps should be:

1. Add "United States" (or a dedicated state) into the search field (CAUTION: only locations as "cities, states, countries, coords or GCcodes are allowed).

2. Click "Add Filter" and jot down your keyword.

I moved it here from its original location (Geocaching Topics) because it's a discussion of a website feature. The Website forum is not solely for bug discussions.

 

There's no need for the topic to be moved again.

Only 570 caches in the entire US with the word "playground" in its name. I would have guessed that number to be higher.

Typing in a cache's name into the main search box should be the correct way to bring up the listing on gc.com. Unfortunately, that does not work. We have to scratch our heads for a moment wondering why caches came up that aren't anywhere close to what we were looking for. Then if we do choose to keep searching for it, we have to jump though hoops to find it. I know there are some who like this but i for one find it ridiculous...
