+grandpa9
I just purchased a Magellan exploist 310, I had an explorist gc before, and I cannot get the Mag. communicator to work. It shows it downloaded on my computer, but when I go to the "send to gps" it shows no communicator found. I finally got it to work once in awhile, but after it downloads once, it shows that the communicator may be busy. I have redownloaded the communicator several times, taking off the one on the computer first, but it still does not work. I also have followed the steps shown on solving the communicator problem, and it shows that it should show a new screen that says a number of different things. One of those being to click "add on", but this screen never appears. I am at a loss. Just about ready to return the GPS. My explorist gc did the same thing. That is why I purchased the 310 thinking it was a problem with the GC. Quote Link to comment
+BlackRose67
What web browser and version of Windows are you using? Most modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge) have stopped supporting the plugin architecture (NPAPI) that the Magellan (and Garmin) communicator plug-ins use. Manually copying the GPX files to your device is your best option now. Quote Link to comment
Sofaltis
I was having the same issue. But Then I went into the individual caches and tried to download the gpx files and they are all greyed out. Is this a premium only feature or am I missing something? thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
