+Bruin47
I Have a GPSMap 62s that is a year old and has a Micro SD Card slot. It's been playing up lately so I've started looking at a replacement 62s or a 64s. There is a 64s on EBay that has a Micro SD Card and one with a standard sizes SD Card. Is one an updated version? Or are they UK/USA Models? Both are from UK sellers and have UK Maps. Quote Link to comment
+Great Scott!
The SD card you are seeing is likely the adapter card for the micro SD card. The 64s only accepts micro SD cards in the card slot. Quote Link to comment
+Bruin47
After a bit more digging I think I know why I was confused. The Map 64s on EBay is Orange like my 62s. The Micro SD in the 64 is orientated left-right while the Micro SD in my 62 goes in up-down. Being in the other orientation, the card in the 64 looks bigger so I assumed it was a SD. I can now see its a Micro SD. The Garmin website confirms this. Thanks for your answer. Quote Link to comment
