+Photo40d Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I am trying to find a way to get a list of all the geocaches I have loaded onto my Oregon 650T. Most are loaded through GSAK (and the Geocaching.com search) however I can't get GSAK to recognize the files. All I get are 71 waypoints - a few caches, a couple of tracks and a few waypoints. All of them are in one area. I tried talking with Garmin about BaseCamp and that didn't produce any results either. Short of stripping all of the caches off and starting over, is there any other way to get a list and remove those caches I no longer want? Thanks, Marti Quote
+tallglenn Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I have an Oregon 550t. When you load up your GPS from GSAK, under "GPS" > "Send Waypoints" there is a box to click on the right that says "Clear GPS before sending". If you have checked that, all previous geocaches you loaded up are gone. They would still be in your GSAK file if you haven't deleted that. It sounds like you are just getting the finds, tracks and waypoints you marked along the way on one trip. When I click "GPS" > "Receive Waypoints" I have to choose between geocaches and waypoints, so I'm not sure about that. Are you trying to move files into GSAK instead of just plugging in the GPS and clicking on their tabs? To get a list, I would just run a fresh PQ or do a new "Geocaching.com access" > "Get geocaches" for the area you want. That way you won't get archived or, if you choose, disabled caches. You can add a list of PQ'd "My Finds" if you want an inclusive list. Good Luck. Quote

The geocaches are in the unit, however they are not able to be pulled out into a list. I wanted to create a database in GSAK with all the caches from my 650. The caches that do show up are from last August and I've loaded and found a bunch since then. There are probably over 10,ooo caches on the unit. I will probably just clear the unit and start over. In the past I was able to download all the caches to a GSAK database - but that was with a Magellan Explorer GC. Quote
+HHL Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 With your Oregon 650 and GSAK's Send to GPS feature the caches are sent as a GGZ file. Try open your caches from the GGZ folder as well. Hans Quote
