Try GDAK. You can use it 100% offline once you have loaded caches and installed offline. You can type your logs offline and once you connect to the hotel WiFi and upload via API, refresh caches via API, import local caches... Quote Link to comment
+niraD
None of the apps I've used have had any problem loading cache data for later use in an area without a data connection. Currently I'm using CacheSense. Sometimes I load data to it using Pocket Queries. Sometimes I load data directly. Quote Link to comment
+geodarts
I settled with GCDroid on my Android after trying several others. It works with offline maps and is very easy to either save searches for offline use or import gpx files. But there are a number of apps that ofer similar capabilities. Try out a few. Find one that works the best for you. Quote Link to comment
+FunnyNose
You also may want to check with your cell provider. I know T-mobile lets you have international data roaming for free depending on what plan you have. If you are going somewhere for awhile consider getting a local SIM card. I never travel international without a backup plan I also use Locus with the GSAK add-on. Excellent maps. Edited December 24, 2015 by FunnyNose Quote Link to comment
