+BikeBill
Can anyone that did the update give a report? For example, any improvement in accuracy? Quote Link to comment
+Mineral2
Can anyone that did the update give a report? For example, any improvement in accuracy? While I haven't updated yet, it doesn't look like there are any updates to the antennas. I doubt that a software patch can improve signal at this point. Barrikady
Can anyone that did the update give a report? For example, any improvement in accuracy? I updated my Oregon 600 four days ago. I encountered no problems with the update and I noticed no changes or improvements to the Oregon's os. Quote Link to comment

I encountered no problems with the update and I noticed no changes or improvements to the Oregon's os. I updated my Oregon 600 the other day. While out caching yesterday, the GPS locked up on me several times, requiring a battery pull to get it working again. Each time it locked up, I was simply hitting the back arrow on the bottom left of the screen where you can pick description, hint, log, etc. Quote Link to comment
+BikeBill
<<While out caching yesterday, the GPS locked up on me several times, requiring a battery pull to get it working again.>> That's not unusual behavior for mine, ever since new. That's a reason my 600 is in a drawer and I generally use my 64s. Quote Link to comment
mjr15197
Interestingly enough, mine hasn't frozen at all running 4.80 (or at least not yet). During this time I've only used it for geocaching. Edited January 19, 2016 by mjr15197 Quote Link to comment
