+ayrbrain Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 DH wast clearing up leaves and rubbish that had blown into our grden the other day. I noticed in his hand as he walked by, a piece of cloth. I thought it was just paper until I looked closer, it was a large (ish) piece of material and camouflaged type colours to boot ? So it is drying out and will be used to cover a cache container at some point. ? Quote

Just looked at the material today and it feels kind of like waterproof type material. Will certainly give it a go covering a box or the likes. I know DH would have probably put it into the bin glad I grabbed it Quote
knowschad Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I have used a camo'd piece of canvas that I found at a fabric store for quite a few caches. I attach it using a 3M spray adhesive. It makes excellent camo. Actually, I have two prints... one is a traditional dark green and brown woodland, and one is a light gray and tan digital pattern. The low sheen of the canvas really helps it blend. Quote
+hzoi Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 We lost one of our plastic flamingos to a wind storm last week -- three tractor trailers were blown over around El Paso as well. Hopefully someone is using it as a cache, or at least gave it a good home. Quote
