payney62
Hi folks, As stated in the title my garmin 62s will no longer load GPX files in any way. I have searched and read other threads on similar issues and tried some but nothing has worked so far I am very frustrated with it now. The way I used to do it was just connect my gps and click the "send to gps" the hit the "write" button and done worked every time until today. I have tried adding them to a card and to the device to no avail and it's not that the files aren't showing up on the unit like the problem quite a few others have had as they don't show up in the gpx file on the computer either however the communicator plug in states that they have been transfered. I am completely lost now really hoping someone has some good advice for me. Quote Link to comment
+Timpat
If you are sending a single cache gpx file at a time, simply click on the gpx on the cache page and download it in the Garmin/GPX folder on the card or internal memory. A pocket query (PQ) is another way and will grab up to 1K caches per query, and the gpx files (cache.gpx and wpts.gpx) go in the same folder. Quote Link to comment
+StefandD
How much gpx files are there on your device? There is a limit, I believe it's 200. Also the number of geocaches is limited, unless you use GGZ files. Make sure you clean up the \Garmin\GPX\ map on both internal memory and mSD card after each day of use (after you backed-up what you want to keep, of course). Quote Link to comment
