I can't seem to find any sort of announcement from the zoo, so I'll ask here.

Anyone know why SDZ decided to ban physical caches?

They were worried about risk management. Not much we can do when the property owner says "no" to caches on its private property. -MR

I understand risk management and property ownership. I was just wondering why.

I guess they're asking if there was an incident that happened - someone reaching into a cage, etc.
