Keystone
As this is not a Website Bug or Feature Request, I am moving the thread to the Travel Bug forum. Quote Link to comment
+wmpastor
Unfortunately TBs are sometimes lost. Sometimes they come back into circulation again when someone remembers they have one in their coat pocket and logs it into a cache. You could try emailing the last finder and/or the cache owner of the last cache it was in. Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
Be happy yours got over 16,000 km on it before it disappeared. Mine disappeared from the cache I released it in. It got 0 km before I marked it missing. Quote Link to comment
+fuzziebear3
Tricia -- if you have confirmed that yours is missing, you can create a proxy using the same number (see your page for the bug, it is listed for you on the right side). Send it out again, and see if it does better this time. What I usually do is create a laminated paper that has the number, the explation that I am a proxy for a bug that got lost, and please track me at geocaching.com. I also include the goal on the tag. Then I attach it to an object just like I did with the original, and send it back on its way again. Quote Link to comment
+TriciaG
Yeah, I know I can. I am hoping it shows up before I resort to that. It took me months after buying a tag to determine what to put on it and what mission to give it; it'll take me months to decide to send out a proxy, and what to attach to THAT. Quote Link to comment
+Twentse Mug
Caches get muggled too. Fortunately that doesn't keep us from replacing caches and building new caches. Quote Link to comment
