I found what might had been part of a Geobug dogtag at the Life Care Center parking lot of Port Townsend. Of course, i may be wrong, if not, the owner might want it back.

It reads, "TAKE ME TO ELLENSBURG WASHINGTON THANKS"

I wish i knew what it was with. No chain or trinket attached.

 

Maybe i have deep Geocaching on the brain.

It's probably this trackable: Ellensburg mission

You can see on the photos on the page of this trackable what it is supposed to look like and in which cache it is supposed to be. It is possible that the trackable part is still in the cache and the part you found on the parking lot fell off while going there. So maybe you can reunite the two parts by visiting this cache, that would be a nice trackable story!

Thank you. By the photos that is the piece. I will go to the cache in hopes the other piece is still there. Kind of odd that someone would take just that piece and not the main part.

I went to the Bug Hotel of Port Townsend. There were no bugs or coins. Swag only. I will be on the search for the missing half in other cache locations. Hopefully, no one is keeping it as a souvenir.

Happy, Happy, Happy. Today both pieces were reunited after the long search.

 

I was contacted via email by the holder of the dog tag. We met so i could give my half to the holder. To my surprise, she handed over the main tag. She didnt want it since she was quitting the game. She also handed over her other TB/GC.
