Rygel Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 I seem to remember seeing a beautiful cache that involved a waterfall in NJ. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't find it again. Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine. Quote
mr.magoo Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Try k-9 via the lower trail. The falls arent from a dramatic height, but the cascading and surrounding scenery are well worth the trip. +Rygel Posted March 16, 2003 Author Posted March 16, 2003 Is K-9 a cache? I don't see it? Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine. Quote

Rygel Posted March 16, 2003 Author Posted March 16, 2003 Hmm, that's not it. The one I saw had a recent log with pictures of the falls. I wish I would have put it on my watch list!! Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine. Quote
Harrald Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 Here's a great waterfall cache. The Giant's Stairs It's only a 3 star terrain cache. You should have a good time hiking it. This is the Bardmin at the halfway point. ==================================== As always, the above statements are just MHO. ==================================== Quote

nikcap Posted March 16, 2003 Posted March 16, 2003 If it's a local cache you're looking for E & E's Night on the Town might be the one. Any other hints to what cache it might be? What struck your interest in it? Edit: Did it really take me 20+ minuts to write that response? Anyway, glad you found it. Quote
Rygel Posted March 16, 2003 Author Posted March 16, 2003 I've marked them all!! Right now I'm focusing on caches in a 10 mile radius of home. Then I'll expand outward. But some of these may warrant a special trip! Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine. Quote
tneigel Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Has anyone cached these spots. I haven't been up that way in awhile. These are way above the del water gap by stokes. Quote
briansnat Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 I think Buttermilk has a cache...at least it had one. "An appeaser is one who keeps feeding a crocodile-hoping it will eat him last" -Winston Churchill Quote
The BeeGees Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 "Have a nice Trip? See you at the Falls" AKA Buttermilk Falls cache was disabled after it went missing. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=8831 Quote
briansnat Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 According to the map, Buttermilk Falls is in the Delaware Watergap NRA. This is administered by the National Park Service, which means geocaches are banned. It may have been removed by a ranger.
