+signseekers
Hi we are cachers from the UK and will be visiting relatives in Selkirk Manitoba in December this year. We want to be able to do some caches while we are there but are concerned that they will not be accessible in the snow. Does anyone know of accessible winter caches in the Selkirk area of Manitoba or virtual caches we can do. We will also be in the Winnipeg area and at the airport. Any advice appreciated. We have looked at the geocaching map but cannot ascertain local info and would like advice please. Thanks for your help. Sue and Gareth Kinsey aka Signseekers Quote Link to comment

Sue and Gareth Kinsey aka Signseekers Welcome to Canada Signseekers, Dress warm, carry a shovel and look for the winter friendly icon which should mean that the cache is placed off the ground and above the snowline. Also lower terrain. Try http://www.mbgeocaching.ca/ for more local information. Enjoy your Manitoba Geocaching Adventures! mwellman Quote Link to comment
