+paticpatic
I am new to Geocaching, only started a few months ago. I have picked up - dropped some TBs, I live in Indiana and took some TBs to Wisconsin and dropped them in caches there. I have sent out about 10 TBs of my own. One of my TBs was grabbed and taken to a different state. The geocacher has been logging the TB in the other state at visits to caches, but not dropped it. Is this normal, as I only logged grabbing and dropping a TB and never log a visit? Actually, I looked for a visit option and am not sure how the geocacher is doing that? This is just an observation, not a complaint as my TB is moving so all is good. Just want to understand what I need to do when I grab another TB? Thanks for the advice. Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Visited ("took it to") is a valid log. If you'd like your trackables to be placed into other caches rather than visited, making it pronounced on the cache page is a good idea. I only place, retrieve, or (seldom) grab trackables, not really caring for that visited option myself. Quote Link to comment
