Frownie for DNFs

I know this has been brought up before, but I don't seem to be able to add to those threads so I thought I'd start a new one.

Has GS considered showing a blue frownie for DNFs? I'd like the visual reminder on the map indicating that perhaps I should revisit my failures. As I continue to log more and more finds, it's getting harder to remember which ones need revisiting.

Anyway if it's keeping track of which caches you want to revisit, you could always create a bookmark list.

This is what I do. I maintain a Bookmark List named, appropriately, "DNFs that are still haunting me." When I'm planning for a day of geocaching, I'll often use one of the caches on that list as the principal target for the day.

As long as they're optional, sure. I'd rather see the icon for the cache type than an icon for my previous DNF log. As long as I can view the map that way, I have no objection to others seeing the DNF icon instead of the cache type icon.

I've suggested this before...but why not change the background color of the cache-type icon? They already do this for caches that are disabled by giving them a darker gray background. So why not just give it a different background color - like a blue or red color - that stands out?

It's been suggested many times before, but even something as simple as a red circle or other marker around the normal icon would serve to retain both the cache type information and log it as a DNF on the map.
