+katchm
I've run out of other options so I thought I'd try here to see if anyone may be able to help. My brother was flying his drone on the moors between Pitlochry and Kirkmichael at the weekend. An antenna fell off and it crash landed about 150m off the road but the onboard Flytrek thing didn't work so he couldn't pick it up, and it was getting dark. I have co-ords which will get someone within a few feet, co-ords for car-parking and a photo of the drone. It is definitely broken so no use for pinching but he has a similar one and would like it back for parts. He flew home to Thailand the next day and I live in middle England or one of us would have retrieved it. It is definitely a wellies job as it is quite wet in that area. He will offer £75 for the safe return of the drone. Admin- I know this isn't geocaching but I have tried other ways to find someone to help me and failed. There are some nice caches along the same road so I hoped someone might attempt both at the same time. If anyone wants to try, I will upload the details. It really needs to be within the next couple of weeks or the drone will probably be no use for parts. Thank you! Hilary Quote Link to comment
+palmetto
a write note log to a couple of the closest caches, or an email to one of the nearby cache owners (recent, active) would be how I'd do this, the odds of a cacher in the area reading this post are low.... Quote Link to comment
