+Mcpat12
Gadget caches are different from the typical cache. They are easy to find but hard to get the log out. Beacuse of this difference I feel like they should have their own cache type. Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
You mean a cache that might need an equipment needed attribute? Quote Link to comment

I would suggest they be called traditional, unless, of course, they are not at the listed coordinates. Then they should be called mystery cache if you have to solve a puzzle to get the coordinates or multicache if you have to find a series of caches to find the final one. Quote Link to comment

Caches underwater should be different types, and so on, and so on.., Quote Link to comment
+Manville Possum
What about the field puzzle attribute? The ones that I have found are a type of gadget cache that you have to figure out how to get to the log. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
Are there enough gadget caches around that they've outgrown the mystery/puzzle type as "the staging ground for new and unique geocaches that do not fit in another category"? Quote Link to comment

+fuzziebear3
I think they are traditionals with the field puzzle attribute, or they might be listed under the mystery type, just to get people to read the page more. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
I think they are traditionals with the field puzzle attribute, or they might be listed under the mystery type, just to get people to read the page more. I allow both, and I let the cache owner choose. They need to choose one or the other, though, for any gadget cache requiring an extra step in order to access and sign the log. Quote Link to comment
+J Grouchy
Reminds me of the only one I've found (I got FTF, actually)... http://coord.info/GC5D561 The name is completely ridiculous, but at least there's no mistakes going in! I think the CO changed the name after I found it and opened it using a method he never intended. Quote Link to comment
