Tash1986
I work in a daycare and we were going to give geocaching a try.. I'm just wondering what the best way would be to go about it... I am going to get the children to make there own as a group what kind of items will I ask them to bring in to do so Quote Link to comment
+Tassie_Boy
Best bet Tash is to head out and do some geocaching, see what is all about. While it is a good activity for children you mention daycare and it may be a little beyond children of that age. Quote Link to comment
+justintim1999
How old are the children? A little letterboxing adventure may be better for younger kids. Quote Link to comment

"I am going to get the children to make there own as a group" , be it a geocache or swag to put in it (you don't say) shows a bit of caching yourself may be in order first. Geocaching 101 and the Help Center both have good info to get you started. Quote Link to comment
+Wet Pancake Touring Club
You may want to Google a variety of terms like pre-shool geocaching, or the like. There may be curriculum already made up that you can use. Groundspeak also has a forum (with age specific sub-forums) on Education, available here. You may want to ask this question there. Skye.
