+Get of Fenris Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 I recently got back into 'caching after a 7 year hiatus, and thought I'd support Groundspeak by getting a premium membership. $30 for a year seemed quite reasonable, thought I, so I went ahead and entered my info. Upon entering the country information, It converted the $30 dollars to... £25. Am I being a tightwad or does this seem a little steep? Quote Link to comment

GS claims to collect VAT these days so $30 is charged €30 (even when the Euro was a lot more than it is now. GS refuses to make their VAT registration number public so... BTW at today's conversion rate €30 is less than $33 I can only guess they are losing $3.5 / EU PM Quote Link to comment
