SearchLine
Is there a way to flip the screen on an eTrex20? If I have my GPS hanging on my clip the screen is upside down when I look at it. Quote Link to comment
MountainWoods
Nope. It's not that smart of a device. Quote Link to comment
Tassie_Boy
Could you cable tie the bottom of the machine to the lanyard to hold it in the "up" position? Quote Link to comment
MountainWoods
Turn your eTrex 90 degrees to your right. Turn your head 90 degrees to your right. Does it look OK? (I almost said, "Does everything look OK?" but I realized that what you see beyond the eTrex is going to look a bit "off".) You did want a neck workout, didn't you? Quote Link to comment
JohnCNA
What 'clip' do you have? Sounds like you're talking about the lanyard attachment point on the bottom, and it hangs upside down. You could try the carabiner clip attachment accessory for your eTrex. That would put the attachment spot at the top of the device instead of the bottom. Quote Link to comment

JohnCNA
I'm using the carabiner clip from Garmin. Ah. So the device is hanging right side up but when you tilt your head down to read it, it appears upside down. Yes? I use these for my camera and GPS neck straps. You can thread the small loop through the slots on the bottom of your GPS. It will then hang upside down and when you tilt your head down to look at it, it will appear right side up. It did not seem to me that hanging upside down had a negative effect on my eTrex 30's accuracy. http://www.amazon.com/OP-TECH-USA-Mini-Loops/dp/B004N623WK Quote Link to comment
K13
Both my Oregon 450 and my old Magellan are upside down when hanging from the strap around my neck. When I grab it to read, things are correctly displayed for viewing. Quote Link to comment
