+EngPhil
http://www.geocaching.com/statistics/DifficultyTerrainImage.aspx (used to display the average D/T image in the Statistics tab of the Profile) has gone 404 today. (Either that, or the statistics page has a wrong URL for it. I've never looked at what the correct URL is before.) Reported by several folks in local forums. ("It's not just me.") +EngPhil
Yup, looks like it's back. Or intermittent... I just got a broken image again. Then it worked again. Perhaps one server in the farm is borked? Quote Link to comment
+Path Pacer
I've been getting it on and off, too. Quote Link to comment

Keystone
Here is an update, posted in another thread that I erroneously moved out of the bug report forum section: The devs have been investigating and discovered that the issue here is due to that one particular graph requiring a particular font to be installed on the server being called. We have recently upgraded to headless servers that do not have the typical OS UI installed on them and as a result do not have fonts installed. That's why the issue would seem to come and go - that was due to switching back and forth between old servers and new servers. The code has been adjusted to make a generic font call that should prevent this from happening again after the next site update. Quote Link to comment

knowschad
In the "Difficulty and Terrain of Caches I've Found" section, above the D/T matrix, I am getting a broken image link for the URL http://www.geocaching.com/statistics/DifficultyTerrainImage.aspx?d=1.86&t=1.91 Is that the section this is discussing? I have tried a Ctrl+F5 refresh to no avail. Quote Link to comment

Moun10Bike
The issue will not be corrected until the next release of the web site. Quote Link to comment
+Tahoe Oldphartz
Since 2012, We've never noticed this problem with the ""Difficulty and Terrain of Caches I've Found" section, above the D/T matrix" ... 'til this evening. It's gone. What's up with that? Thanks for your aid & assistance. Quote Link to comment
+noncentric
Interesting, I'm seeing the averages, but only in text format. The font size is much smaller than usual and the partially-filled stars do not appear. Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
Same here. No stars, and smaller than normal text. Quote Link to comment

+EngPhil
Yup, the star images are gone. Meh. No loss. They didn't add any value anyway. The important bits (the numbers) are still there this time. Quote Link to comment
+Viajero Perdido
I wouldn't mind seeing them restored. My whole participation in this game is focused on increasing one of those numbers. (Terrain; trying for 2.5; it keeps me in shape.) Quote Link to comment

(Terrain; trying for 2.5; it keeps me in shape.) I'm curious how the stars provided any additional utility over the text, which is still there. The stars and accompanying text together used to be a dynamically-generated image. That image has been replaced with the same info in actual text form. To my thinking, that's an improvement.
