Burglars have broken into multiple cars parked at state parks in Hillsborough County, according to the sheriff’s office.

The burglaries happened in parks near Morris Bridge Road and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, and are still under investigation.

In each vehicle, the thieves smashed windows and took purses, wallets and other valuables left inside. They then tried to use the victims’ personal information to cash checks or withdraw money.
