+GeoLog81
What category would be appropriate for posting monument to the victims of communistic deportations? The deportations was during 2nd World War, but is there more specific category that World War II Memorials? Quote Link to comment

+The A-Team
Maybe: http://www.Waymarking.com/cat/details.aspx?f=1&guid=c88d6588-007d-41a0-87e2-5628ed5a3639 That's for "monuments which is dedicated to the uprisings against the communist regime", but what GeoLog81 described doesn't sound like an uprising. My suggestion is Human Migration Monuments. The description does say that it includes "both voluntary migration and involuntary migration". Quote Link to comment
+dreamhummie
Many Dutch victims were up uprising against the German regime in WWII and there deportations from Westerbork to Auschwitz. Westerbork is here a 5 miles away. If they did not uprise against that, they would have live longer and has no monument here in The Netherlands. Thats why my first idea was my link in post 2. They are victims of .... deportations here. Edited June 19, 2015 by dreamhummie Quote Link to comment

+GeoLog81
Human Migration Monuments Description: This category is to Waymark monuments to Human migration and pay homage to all human beings who for one reason or another had to migrate and face the difficulties associated to build a new home away from home. In that case, those people were deported not to find new home but to be imprisoned or killed, and they even hasn't got an opportunity to resist to communistic regime (the deportations was the part of the war, started by Germany and Soviet Union). So maybe general WWII monument, because they were victims of 2nd World War? Quote Link to comment
