Login problem

Hello,

 

today I tried to use Waymarking.com for the first time. I am a Geocaching.com premium member.

When I try to Login, the following error message appears:

An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to https://account.Groundspeak.sec/AccountV5/Private.svc/AccountServiceSoap. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.

I suspect that currently there is some technical fault on the Website - or am I doing something wrong? Logging in and out on Geocaching.com works okay for me...

I'm getting the same error as well. Tried to logon on a few hours ago & just now (8 pm Australian Eastern Standard time) but no luck.

 

Any idea what the problem is & when it might be fixed?

 

OK - we're not alone.

Ive posted a bug thread for this in the Website forum. That forum is watched by staff. Someone will see it sometime today (Seattle time).

Fred is having an off afternoon. It knows I'm catching up after my last trip so wont allow me to upload photos. Just needs a break as after all it's 3 o'clock & time for afternoon tea.

After getting 3% of my photo uploaded the Internet connection failed -

This webpage is not available. ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

 

Geocaching side of things is OK.

Yes! I also can't use Waymarking.com!

I can not access more than the starting page.

I can not log in.

I can not access any other page.

 

It loads and loads and it is extremly slow.

After waiting a very long time some pages can be viewed. But log in is still not possible!

 

Please take a look and fix!

Here the same in the Netherlands. Site is running here for 2 minutes then it goes down again.

It's up and down and up and down.

Now it works fine again (including the well known features, bugs and errors).

With IE9.0.8 I am still unable to sign in to Waymarking.com.

Using Chrome I can log on but the site is slow now whereas over the last week it was very slow. Beginning of last week it recognised that there was a southern hemisphere & I was happy but that didn't last long. Up to 5 edits were then required to get from N & W to S & E. Off track.

I was able to login without incident today, Tuesday, using Chrome.

 

With IE9.0.8 I am still unable to sign in to Waymarking.com.
