Krosses Krazy
Hi we are off to Shetland middle of this month and wil grab some caches whilst there. Anyone who has cached there which cache would you say was the best? Andy Quote Link to comment
spooky_luke
We haven't cached in Shetland for many years, but when we did, we enjoyed seeing St Ninian's Isle - Look at GC1KB63 to give you an idea. We also enjoyed driving past the airport at Sumburgh to visit Sumburgh Head Lighthouse where you can often see puffins - See GC56E92. If you have time, it's also well worth travelling to see Unst Bus Shelter - GC1TK5D and the UK's most Northerly cache Sexy Muckle Flugga (Herma Ness, Unst, Shetland) - GC1QJE6. Have a great trip, Luke Quote Link to comment
L8HNB
We love caching in Shetland and agree with Spooky Luke, but haven't been up there for a couple of years - next year its on the cards though! Our favourite, and one of our all time favourites, is GCG0P7 Can you here me mother from 2003. There is our cache GC1TBV9 Yell's No1 if you like an interesting drive and GCKFF7 Voxter View if you like a stiff walk. We could go on... Don't forget there is now a Scotland the Quest cache (GC4RJDB - we haven't done it yet) so you might as well get it while you are up there. Have a great trip, hope you have good weather - there's nowhere nicer when the sun is shining. Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
I didn't find a single bad cache on Shetland when I was up there in 2009. Have a great trip! Edit: Not sure if there's a cache there, but I did the evening/night trip to Mousa to see the Brock there. A magical trip. Edited June 3, 2015 by Simply Paul Quote Link to comment

Original A1
I was there in April and so if you look at my profile, you'll see what I found, which was a really nice bunch of caches. The one I regret not having time to find was St Ninian's Treasure on the eponymous island. Have a great time. It's a lovely place. Quote Link to comment
