stampygal Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Hi Everyone, I am relatively new at geocaching and thought I would try placing a travel bug of my own. I went out tonight and placed it in an existing cache. I came home and activated it and it looks fine... Except that it says it is in the hands of the owner. So here is the dumb question, how do people know where to find it? I did not have to enter the coordinates of the location, so how does that work? Since I entered it from home and it was last seen in my hands, am I going to start seeing people walking around my house? That will not work for me... With technology being what it is, you just never know. By the way, when I got home I logged my "finding" and mentioned in my post that I placed a travel bug. Thanks in advance!
