Klause Von Kuhn
I have been defeated. All of my caches are being removed from Patapsco State Park, due to an agreement that I had with park officials. I have a total of 8. Because of them being spread out through the different areas of the park, it will take me longer than I expected to remove them. The "Music Madness" cache has already been pulled out and the "River's Edge" and the "V Cache" will be pulled out by July 4,2002. The others will go in the weeks to follow. I am not at all happy with the park officials and their demands. But I gave them my word that I would do this. Hopefully in the near future, they will change their policies and welcome the sport into their park. So if anyone is watching my caches, remember to hunt for my latest ones now before they are gone. +brhodes
what kind of "agreement?" what sort of reason are they giving? the standard NPS crap line about "abandonded property?" or did they hit on a new excuse to be obstructionist? Quote Link to comment
Klause Von Kuhn
Same crap really. I think the man in charge is just on a power trip. Everyone knows that there is no harm in it. But I believe the HEAD honcho just wants to cover himself if something was to happen. Quote Link to comment
Klause Von Kuhn
Due to the latest news on the Maryland Geocaching Society Forums, the removal of my remaining caches in Patapsco State Park, has been put on hold for now. Quote Link to comment
