"Bug" in Michigan Souvenir description (wrong nickname)

I recently noticed that the description of the Michigan state badge says:

 

The "Wolverine State" is comprised of two peninsulas, the Lower Peninsula and the Upper Peninsula. It is famously the heart of the American car industry. Michigan has the longest freshwater shoreline in the world.

 

The issue is that it uses the term "Wolverine State", which is incorrect. The state's primary nickname is the "Great Lakes State", as seen on the national currency that was created back when a quarter was made for all 50 states. The "Michigan quarter" uses the official nickname:

 

 

Is there any way this souvenir description can be updated to use the proper nickname?

Wiki and many others use both as the nickname (as well as "mitten State" and "water wonderland").

Not actually a "bug", but it seems (to me) a preference.

Michigan has been known as the Wolverine State for an awfully long time, there are other nicknames also.

 

So, no... it is not a bug.

Michigan is, by tradition, known as "The Wolverine State," and the University of Michigan takes the wolverine as its mascot. The association is well and long established: for example, many Detroiters volunteered to fight during the American Civil War and George Armstrong Custer, who led the Michigan Brigade, called them the "Wolverines". The origins of this association are obscure; it may derive from a busy trade in wolverine furs in Sault Ste. Marie in the 18th century or may recall a disparagement intended to compare early settlers in Michigan with the vicious mammal. Wolverines are, however, extremely rare in Michigan.

 

Some people believe that Ohioans gave Michigan the nickname “The Wolverine State” around 1835 during a dispute over the Toledo strip, a piece of land along the border between Ohio and Michigan. Rumors in Ohio at the time described Michiganians as being as vicious and bloodthirsty as wolverines. This dispute became known as the Toledo War.

 

Another reason given for the nickname is a story that has Native Americans, during the 1830s, comparing Michigan settlers to wolverines. Some native people, according to this story, disliked the way settlers were taking the land because it made them think of how the gluttonous wolverine went after its food.

IIRC, Governors of each State were asked for input for the quarters, so maybe an update to the souvi, since not a bug.

- 'Course if every State changes it's nickname from time-to-time, it may be a pain-in-the-can for whoever has to fix 'em.
