+jonboy
I picked up a floppy from Waterboy that contains trails created in TOPO! for Pennsylvania, in Paint format. Does anyone else use TOPO! in the NY/NJ region? Perhaps we could share maps as .tpo files. I have quite a few that I created for the area using NY/NJ Trail Conference maps as well as Rod Johnson maps and hand drawing them onto TOP!. I posted some of them on the mapxchange site for TOPO!, but those are old, and I have been updating and correcting them using track logs of my hikes. I would be interested in sharing files in an effort to improve and expand my data base. I also have quite a few map files created for MapTech's Terrain Navigator. Quote Link to comment
+Waterboy
Jonboy, I believe that the topo map disk in my cache was left by Outsid4evr. I picked up one copy of his in some other cache, possibly Covert 002. Quote Link to comment
+Team OUTSID4EVR
I placed the maps in .bmp format so they could be viewed by anyone. I don't know how common Topo! is in the geocaching community. Maybe for the second edition of the topo floppy, I'll add other formats. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I have Topo! Haven't used it much yet though. Haven't had the time to play around with it. "It has been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues" -Abraham Lincoln Quote Link to comment
