+Geeky Wanderers
What the title says really, can I view the map and only see my finds, and not all the available caches? Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Have you tried the search page because it is right there. If you haven't then Click Play Find A Cache Enter the location Add filter Peruse that as desired but one categoty is I have found. Then run the search and Click map these results Quote Link to comment
+Geeky Wanderers
Thanks for the reply. I've just tried that but seems it only does a search ratio of 30 miles from whichever location you enter. I just wanted to see all of our finds on a map -which would be parts of the UK and the whole coast of Norway. Not sure if there's another way. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
There are several ways, none of which are on the Geocaching.com website. 1. Download your "My Finds" pocket query and open it in your favorite mapping software (Google Earth, Mapsource, etc.). 2. Download your "My Finds" pocket query into GSAK, install a mapping macro, and view your finds on the map within GSAK. 3. Use Project-GC.com -- I have included a screen shot of your UK finds to illustrate what this looks like: 1 Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
There are several ways, none of which are on the Geocaching.com website. Not quite true - you can use the new Advanced Search: Go to https://www.geocaching.com/play/search Click "Add Filters" Toggle the "I've Found" radio button near the upper right corner Click "Search" Click "Map These Results" Quote Link to comment
Keystone
Right, but isn't there a limit to the results that will be displayed? I just tested this again under my player account (thousands of finds) and not all my finds show up on the map. It WOULD work for the OP, though (less than 1000 finds). Moun10Bike
Yes, that is correct - you'll only see 1000 results at the moment (although we plan to change this in the future for your own finds). Quote Link to comment
