I have mountains going through my head. I need to get on some and look out and do some geocaching too.

 

I'm considering a trip to Kili in Jan / Feb 2016.

 

Anyone out there had experience / want to come?

 

I have preparation to do. It would be stupid to consider going sooner.

A nice idea but you'll probably reach many more UK geocachers if you post your thoughts on one of the many UK geocaching groups on facebook. Very few UK geocachers look at this forum these days.

Sadly it's beyond my budget I suspect, but is somewhere I'd love to climb. Please keep us informed of your plans on here (as well as a Facebook group or two, and perhaps the GAGB forums?)

I am sure it would be an awesome adventure but do not think I would be able to partake in personally.

 

As MrsB said, it is quite quiet here compared to a few years ago. As well as FB, if you want to try reaching out using twitter there is a hashtag hour #UKGeocachingHour between 8pm and 9pm on Tues evening you could let relevant people know about your ideas via

You could try contacting Kili or bust, who might be able to advise (and is a very nice chap). He seems to have given up caching but his account is still active.

I'm not sure why Facebook was demanding for you. Maybe you didn't look into the settings: you can customise it quite a bit.
