Perhaps you could point us in the direction of whatever reference / guide / tutorial you are using so that we can assist you better?

The clipboard you're referring to is probably the Windows clipboard, an object which holds copied or cut content until you paste that content where you want it to go - but I don't think that will be relevant you you being able to add images to your cache pages as copy/paste isn't used for that.

That Help Center article does mention "clipboard":

If, for some reason, you have trouble with dragging the name up into the browser's address area, try this: Right click on the name of the image, and follow the screen prompts to get its unique URL.

Or, under the image link, you will see an "edit" link. Clicking on "edit" will open the image on its own page. On the edit page clicking directly on the image will open the image on its own page. The URL of that page can be seen there in your browser.

Copy that URL into the clipboard.

Here are the instruction in their entirety:

1. Adding a graphic requires the use of proper HTML commands.

2. Click on the "upload images" button in the Navigation box at the top right of the geocache page.

3. Navigate to your photo directory on your hard drive, and identify the correct picture. Give your photo a name (e.g. "View from West End Overlook") and upload it.

4. The photo now appears on the geocache page as a little camera icon with a hyperlink on its name. Look for it just below the maps and just above the logs:

View from West End Overlook

5. Now you need the URL of just that image.

Drag that photo's name up into the address area of your browser.

That should then show you just the photo on its own page with nothing else. The URL that you need can now be copied from the address area of your browser.

6. Put the geocache page into edit mode.

7. Make sure that the box is checked to say that you are using HTML on the geocache page, and then insert the HTML code for the image so that the photo will display in the center of the geocache page:

<center><img src="http://img.Groundspeak.com/cache/a0f1a0a9-af25-4574-9dc8-cd46521ca68e.jpg"></center>

In your case, the characters in between the quotation marks will be different, of course.

If you are still having trouble at this point, please check out the the Knowledgebase Article called "HTML In Geocache Descriptions."

Doesn't ring any bells.

Can you provide a link to those screenshots?

The clibboard in this context is the chunk of memory that a computer will use for copy and paste operations. The URL for the image is "copied" to the clipboard then pasted from the clipboard into the cache description.

Thats all great......Iv got EVERYTHING.......exept where or what is the clipboard....Thx

In general, you can't actually see where the clipboard is located though some applications will provide a facility for viewing the contents. It's a basic concept built into pretty much every computer operating system, including mobile devices. It's essentially just some internal memory that an application can use to store and retrieve some information, that in computer terms is called "copy and paste". The clipboard is just a storage area where text is "copied" to, and pasted "from". Here's a pretty good page that explains how it works:

http://lifehacker.com/5801525/help-new-pc-users-learn-how-to-copy-cut-and-paste

If you're using a Mac instead of a PC the commands for copying (or cutting) and pasting are different.

Can you paste here a copy of your HTML so we can see if there's anything that needs changing?

OK - when I click on that link I see a picture of a man relaxing in a chair - which I assume is what you intend - which would mean that your image link is fine.

But there should be some HTML around that in order for it to be incorporated into your cache page.

And the check box to the left of The descriptions below are in HTML must be checked.

Try pasting this HTML code into your page where you want the image to appear:

Awsome..That works now.......Are you saying i have write some code for this to work......I thought that the only code work to be done was if i wanted the image centered on the page

Including images in your cache page requires that little bit of HTML coding :)

Want it centered?

Try this:

<center><img src="http://img.geocaching.com/cache/large/1dfc9cc9-f7cf-4568-8fee-9019c41306ad.jpg"></center>
