Events

I must be missing something. With the new layout of the website, I cannot see how to find all of the events in the UK. I used to go to 'find a cache', choose 'advanced' then choose 'events', then choose 'country', then select 'United Kingdom' from the drop down menu and then 'send'. I could then scroll down the list of events of the UK. With the new layout on the website, the distance for searching is limited to 30 miles. I cannot see how to do what I used to but there has to be a way of doing it, but I am having a mental block. Can someone point me in the right direction please but be gentle with me, I am slow. Thanks.

Go to the search

Do not put anything in the first box; just select the Filters link

Select only Event type cache

Put United Kingdom in the region

 

They will be sorted by distance from... somewhere.

Thanks. That sorted it. As you say, they are sorted by distance from somewhere but at least they are all there. I missed the 'search only in' box because the contents were so greyed out that it was just about unreadable. My other mistake was to stupidly put United Kingdom in the first location box. I guess 'United Kingdom' is not a location!!! My results from that were, just for interest, four events in the Lake District and when I put 'England' in the first box, I got a whole stack of all sorts of types of caches based on 30 miles from a point in the East Midlands - bizarre. Thanks again for the help.

Yep - whatever you put in the first box, the results will be limited to 30 miles / 50 km or so from that point.
