+thehoomer Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Apologies for posting this on here. I know there are local forums/facebook etc but I don’t use any of it and wouldn’t know where to start. We are intending to archive most of our caches (some of which are comparatively old) and have posted notes on the ones up for grabs. I suspect not but if anyone is interested in adoption, please contact us. Thanks. Quote
+dartymoor Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 To save others the job of negotiating the recently changed website to find out the area concerned, they seem to be Oxford/North of Oxford in Southern England. A little too far from me to take on I'm afraid (thought they must be as not covered by Notifications). Credit for offering them around, hope somebody can take some - there looks to include well liked caches there. Quote

+walk tall Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I've found some of your caches, so took a quick look at some of the older still active caches you have but didn't see any notes that say they were up for grabs. Do you have a list? I could post these on Cotswold Caching and CacheWalker forums. Happy caching walk tall Quote

We have kept our favourites and golden oldies. To be honest, we were getting a bit cheesed off with expensive, annual maintenance on caches which were rarely visited. We are thinking about putting some new ones out there but they have to be special in some way and this will require longer in the melting pot. It gets increasingly harder to be original. Quote
