+baack40
I am having problem trying to do a pocket query Along a Route. Did something change here? I enter the To and From information and when I hit Search it does nothing. Do I need to change a setting or something or is this broken at this time? Any suggestions? Haven't done a pocket query in quite a while but have never had this problem before Quote Link to comment
+baack40
BTW I am using Windows 8 have not updated to 8.1 if that makes a difference. I can do a pocket query using a GC code and 25 miles radius feature. Just can't use the Along a Route feature. Edited March 10, 2015 by baack40 Quote Link to comment
+lonepinemax
I am having the same problem. When I get to the map I can't change the position of the start and stop flags, only the map moves and not the flags. I have tried it in Firefox, Chrome, and Explorer with the same outcome. +larryc43230
I've been communicating with baack40 about this issue. She's determined (and I've verified) that the problem results from using https rather than http in the address. Looks like Groundspeak has a bug that needs squashed. --Larry Quote Link to comment
+baack40
Thanks Larry. Hadn't got to posting the results here. Found the answer in another posting here after extensive searching. But thanks for verifying that that was the problem. Quote Link to comment

If you're referring to the map that appears when you first visit the caches-on-a-route page (a map of the Seattle area), you can't do anything with the start and end points on the map. You have to enter start and end points in the search boxes above the map before you can do anything else. --Larry Quote Link to comment

I couldn't even get to the map. When I typed in the From and To locations and tried to click on search it wouldn't do anything. Once I changed the https to http it worked fine. I could then do the search and also could move the flags. Very strange indeed. Quote Link to comment
+lonepinemax
When I put in the to and from and press search nothing happens, no map appears. I also tried a saved search along a route to see if I could edit that but it would not let me edit that either. Quote Link to comment

If so, try changing the address to http and see if the page works now. --Larry Quote Link to comment
