+Guido&Cons Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 We are wondering if anyone else has encountered a major bug in the Android app registering multiple logs against each cache? We have been out today and found 20 plus caches and logged each one once through the App, however when we have got home and looked at the website on the laptop it has logged each one up to 30 times!! I had problems with the app when we were out as I lost an accurate GPS reading on our location, and then all caches disappeared altogether. I have tried to delete and reinstall but it wont let me sign in now saying there is a network error. If anybody can shed any light on this we would be so grateful. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 I think there is a problem with the Groundspeak Api, which could cause the double logging. Just go to the log, select edit, and the delete the duplicates. Quote Link to comment

We have made a start at deleting but with 300 duplicated entries its going to take a while Quote Link to comment
+NMLeisa Posted March 8, 2015 Share Posted March 8, 2015 The same thing happened to me, but i'm using the iOS app on my iphone...went to a handful of caches, and now there are at least 10 entries on the log for each one. It also says i have 113 caches found, when i know for a fact i should have around 15. Guess I will be using the delete button also. Quote Link to comment

+Modelflyers (MFS) Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 It happened to us yesterday using an android phone. Gave me a bit of a shock when it counted how many caches I now have. However as we were going around the walk picking up the caches it was counting up correctly. It was only some hours later when we had got home that my profile now showed the duplicate caches.
